When we purchased this home to renovate, we knew we had several builder grade features in the home that if you just replaced, it would really give it that custom look! One thing we decided to replace was the door hardware. This was a huge move as it’s the jewelry in your home, or other words, the cherry on top! We added these brass and black crystal knobs all except for a few future places! The crystal knobs are real crystal made without lead! These have really boosted the look of our home and elevated it so much! Door knobs are something that everybody physically touches and makes a big impact on the feeling of the home!
On our back doors we really wanted the door hardware to pop off of the black paint so we went with the Carre Short Plate Set with the Eden Prairie Knob in lifetime brass! We had function and beauty in mind when making this decision. These doors were going to get a lot of use from our boys and they're one of the first things you see when you walk into the room! They ended up being the perfect choice!
Lastly, and potentially the most important selection of them all was the hardware for the front door! We really wanted to take our time on this selection because this was going to be the first and last thing people touch! We felt as though this would make a lasting impression on the house and those who visited! We ended up choosing the Carre One-Piece Handle Set and C Grip with Eden Knob! We also went with the lifetime brass finish here to help tie the whole house together!
Picking out hardware for your home can be difficult and super overwhelming but we had the best experience with Grandeur! We loved being able to choose from so many gorgeous designs and finishes that would perfectly match our style!
